The EASIEST Way to Make Canna-Infused Coffee
There’s nothing like a wake-and-bake. Your endocannabinoid levels are naturally at their lowest in the mornings, and starting your day with cannabis can be a great way to help you stay focused and energized.
But smoking is smell and obvious, and not an option for everyone – so what’s a plant lover to do?
Make an infused coffee!
There are many ways to make an infused coffee, from adding a tincture to using infused coffee beans but I like to keep it simple first thing in the morning. In my opinion, the easiest way to make a weed-infused coffee is with a piece of infused chocolate in your morning cup of Joe.
Now full transparency: I first came across this recipe on Instagram by Anna of the Cannabinista. I tried it and I loved it, which is why I’m sharing it with you.
What I love about this recipe is that it literally couldn’t be any simpler. All you have to do is make your coffee like normal and add the chocolate – that’s it! I use whole beans that I grind and steep in a French Press, but you can do whatever works best for you.
Be sure to dose your coffee carefully! Edibles can take up to two hours to take effect because they’re processed through your digestive system. If you’re not sure how much chocolate to add to your coffee, start with a low dose on a relaxed day and see how you feel. Adjust accordingly.

A note about mixing cannabis and coffee:
Caffeine is a stimulant while THC can be sedating. When mixed together, the two can balance each other out. While everyone’s endocannabinoid system is different, some people find that mixing cannabis and coffee helps alleviate some of the caffeine side effects like shakiness.
